A new way to kick off the Festival, involving theatrical chaos and family-friendly interactive activities, in the central hall of the National Museum of Scotland. For Fiona Ferguson it taps into an essential element of the Festival’s original set-up: “It’s bringing back a bit of that festival feeling; it’s open and free with pop-up, smaller events. It provides an opportunity for artists in Scotland to try out new ideas in front of family audiences.”
