Scotland’s Year of Young People

In celebration of the Year of Young People Imaginate were joined by five young associates, aged between 16-25, who helped to curate the opening weekend of the 2018 Children’s Festival. The final programme included jelly beans, wizards and mini puppets, mixed media experiences and much more!

Did you know… ?

New in 2018:

Launchpad, a two-year project to support four theatre and dance artists in making work for young audiences, and funded by the Garrick Charitable Trust.

Accelerator, a programme offering research and development funding, mentoring, producing support and performance opportunities for artists to create works-in-progress for young audiences. Supported by the PLACE programme (a partnership between Creative Scotland, the City of Edinburgh Council and the Edinburgh Festivals), the open call is ongoing!
